Joel and Virginia Cook
Awana Missionaries Joel and Virginia Cook have been serving northern California since January 2007. when they first became missionaries. They were introduced to Awana in 1995 while serving in the Air Force in New Mexico. There they served along side the area missionary, starting clubs and coordinating events for that region. Since that time, the Cooks have continued serving as a family following Joshua 24:15 principle. The Cooks have been married since Feb 17, 1979. Joel serves as an Elder in his local church and Virginia serves in the Women's Ministry. They are passionate about the Awana mission of Equipping Leaders to Reach Kids so they can Change the World. |

Serving with Cru in Nebraska We serve with the collegiate ministry branch of Cru based in Lincoln, NE where we oversee the Cru chapters across the state. We are trusting God to reach 36 college campuses in Nebraska with a total enrollment of around 130,000 students. We want to be a part of Cru's vision of seeing the college campus produce young men and women passionate about seeing their neighborhoods and the world discipled to know Jesus. We believe in what Cru is doing because it was instrumental in both our lives and we want to extend the same opportunity to future generations. To know more visit: themcvickermile.com |
