Journey® is Awana's curriculum that establishes High School students as lifelong disciples through a deep study of God's Word, mobilizing them to live with godly perspective and evident faith.
Each year the students complete:
Here at FBC, the students in Journey® have the same Wednesday night options as our Trek students: to work on their book work at home & then to serve as Student Leaders in our Puggles, Cubbies, Sparks, or T&T Clubs; or attend Student Ministries and help in other areas at FBC or their home church.
Each week students participating in Journey will meet in the Prayer Room at 6:00 p.m. for handbook time before either working in the other clubs each Wednesday evening, or attending Student Ministries.
Continuing Awana through High school is a great way to establish lifelong habits of looking to God's Word for direction through out our lives, as well as provide opportunities for college scholarships by earning Awana's highest award:
The Citation Award. (Anyone 12th grade or older can earn this achievement.)
