ENCOUNTER WEEKEND 2021
What is Encounter Weekend?
Encounter Weekend is a weekend for students grades 6-12 to get away from the distractions of their daily life, come together and worship Christ for an entire weekend.
What is Encounter Mountaintop?
Mountaintop is this year's Encounter Weekend theme. We will be looking at how God uses Mountaintop experiences throughout the Bible to show up in amazing and powerful ways. We hope this will be a Mountaintop experience for you! Our verse for the weekend is John 19:16-18 (ESV) "So he delivered him over to them to be crucified. So they took Jesus, and he went out, bearing his own cross, to the place called The Place of a Skull, which in Aramaic is called Golgotha. There they crucified him, and with him two others, one on either side, and Jesus between them."
Who can come?
Students in grades 6-12 are all welcome and encouraged to attend.
Why should I and my friends come?
Whether you are already a follower of Christ, or if you are still searching for truth, this weekend is designed to be a fun, engaging, and distraction-free time where you can grow deeper in your relationship with Christ, or explore what it means to follow Christ. We will have awesome worship, great fellowship and games, and even have a chance to serve others during this weekend.
When is it?
March 12-14, 2021.
How much is it?
$50 - This includes all Saturday meals and Sunday morning breakfast
We never want a student to miss out on this event because of the price, please contact Pastor Todd to see if there is a scholarship available for you (all scholarships are first come first serve and need based).
Who is speaking?
Mitch Connell has been involved in ministry for 11 years and has a passion for students and worship. He is the Worship and High School Pastor at Heritage Christian Fellowship where he and his wife Jessie worship with his three awesome and adorable children. Not only is he a huge 49ers fan, but he also learned to play the guitar to woo his eventual wife Jessie off her feet.
Who is leading worship?
Good Friday is an alternative rock band from Portland, OR who travel the world on a Jesus mission. They tour around spreading the Gospel through leading worship, their original music outreach events, and by partnering with churches and missionaries all across the globe.

ABSOLUTELY! This is open to all students regardless of where you attend church. If you or your group wants to attend, we would love to have you and your leaders have an awesome weekend with us. You can register below.
I am a Youth/Student Pastor or a Youth/Student Leader, can I bring my group?
YES! We want Encounter Weekend to be an open event where you can bring your group and not worry about the programming so that you have time to build relationships and disciple your group. What about Covid-19?
Since we cannot predict the future we will prepare for all scenarios regarding Covid-19. We are following all Oregon guidelines and practicing social distancing. In the event we cannot provide overnight accommodations, than we will notify you and will change the event to an multi-day conference where students will sleep at home. In the event of a cancellation, all funds will be returned. Final decisions on this will have to be made closer to the event. We will be in contact with all registrants on any changes that occur. Our #1 priority is the safety of all students who attend.
